STOA II Opening with Live Musician Lisa Brune on Dorena's World

STOA II opens its gate for public at November 8th.
STOA stands for "Spike Teleskop Observatory Array" and is a scientific, educational and informational project by Spike Sol set to realization on the different STOA regions on the Soloton Grid.

It is dealing with the Space in real and science oriented. Just to give a few examples, what to expect:
The universe, black holes, but also it will be explained how the fluorine gets into the toothpaste, cause the fluorine is "bred" in the stars.
Answers will be given to the question, if it is good to build a house on Mallorca, due to the earth plate tectonics.
Due to the fact that the STOA regions are no Party regions, Spike chooses "The Dome" on "Beeblebrox" region to celebrate the opening. And as a special guest for this event, zaphod Enoch invited the well known musician

Lisa Brune:
Lisa was born near Paris in 1978 and she was lulled by the music listened by her Mum : Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Nina Simone as well as french artists named Leo Ferré, Georges Brassens or Serge Reggiani. During her teenage years she went to sleep listening Noir Desir, Alain Baschung, Nirvana…

It was in 2000 when she started to write her own songs with the help of her boyfriend and took part in a project for and made by students on the theme of Alice in Wonderland with the aim of helping in drug usage prevention. This project has been built during 2 years and led to 2 public performances.
Her musical tastes become more precise when she discovers bands like Portishead, Massive Attack, Wax Tailor or The Gathering expanding her influences : from Rock to Trip Hop.
Lisa works in coup de coeur. Even if its musical preferences are particularly rock (in the broad sense, old rock, current rock and rock metal), the trip-hop and jazz / blues artists, she can also have a sudden passion for Electro, rap or any other style.

Lisa arrived in Second Life out of curiosity and since 2009 she listens and discovers artists who are making the treasures of the live performances in SL.
She founded "Tree of Lovers" in January 2010 with J4ck Nichols, this place is dedicated to live performances and about 50 artists from different styles and backgrounds.
Supported by her BF (RL and SL), Lisa started to sing in world in July 2010.
She was invited in venues from different communities (french, italian, norwegian, german, american).
Thanks to concerts Lisa met Nemo Kranfel, a musician with whom she commit "musical crimes" by diverting, reinventing, original songs like "In Your Room" from Depeche Mode.
She sings mainly covers but Lisa wants to write her own songs as she did with a last song "Dry tears".
The selection of songs is guided by crushes and meanings of lyrics. It is difficult to give a precise style with Lisa. The only common thread is the pleasure of the musical vibrations that she attempts to share with a voice full of emotion.

After all her SL experiences she is now ready to explore the live performing world of Open Sim. With her performance at "The Dome" on the "Beeblebrox" Region on Dorena's World Grid she debuts in the OpenSim Community.

Hm, schade für mich, vielleicht schaffe ich es später reinzuschauen. Aber wie immer laufen zig Events parallel, wenn was tolles geboten wird.

Ein unvergesslicher Abend. Zuerst verzauberte uns Lisa mit ihrer wundervollen Stimme. Danach drehte Spike mit einem spitzenmässigen Musikprogramm auf und hielt die Stimmung am kochen. Ich habe zwischenzeitlich mal Bilanz gezogen. Da waren es 24 Besucher aus sieben verschiedenen Grids,..whow. Die Fete ging bis weit in die Nacht.
Vielen Dank an alle die dabei waren, besonders an Lisa, Spike und Zaphod, der uns für diesen wundervollen Abend seine Region zu Verfügung stellte.

Freut mich, dass die Eröffnung so gut besucht wurde... Leider wurde es bei mir sehr spät und ich bin nur noch ins Bett gefallen. War wieder mal typisch... 5 Termine auf einen Tag. Und dann wieder tagelang nix.
