Problem mit Mint

Hallo, ich frag lieber mal euch, weil das deutsche Mintforum so eklig ist. Im Netz hab ich nichts gefunden. Hab seit einiger Zeit massive Probleme mit Mint, eigentlich seit dem update auf Tricia. Das begann damit, das ab und an die nvidia-karte nicht korrekt erkannt wurde. Nun läuft auch noch die xsessions-error am laufenden Meter voll und spuckt böse Meldungen aus:

Habt ihr eine Idee dazu? Komplette Neu-Installation? Rechner wegwerfen?
Ich bin ratlos....
