Bei den meisten Routern kann man das aber per Hand aktivieren. Man muss nur googeln wie. Ich habs bei meinem über die Telnet Konsole machen müssen. Viele haben die Einstellmöglichkeit aber im Menü.
Nur bei einigen wenigen Routern hat man keine Chance.
Aber erstmal abwarten was an Infos kommt.

Sollte ich denn wirklich bei allem Eifer was übersehen haben, man möge es mir verzeihen ;-)
Der erste Erfolg vom eigenen PC aus und von seiner eigenen Welt aus ins WWW zu reisen (standalonehypergrid) war schon überwältigend ;-)
Naja und im Rausch des Erfolges kann man schonmal was übersehen oder?

Ich würde mich echt freuen wenn es nur an einem kleinen Fehler liegen würde der schnell zu beheben ist.
Denn ich habe mich auch schon bei Dorenas World angemeldet (einfach fantastisch) und erwäge wenn alles klappt auch einen V-Server zu mieten und mich anzudocken :-)

Also vorab schon mal vielen Dank an alle die sich Mühe machen mir zu helfen.

Einen recht wunderschönen guten Morgen erstmal.

Recht herzlichen Dank an Dich Dorena, das Du Dir die Arbeit gemacht hast und mal kontrolliert hast.
Ich denke mal das wir diesen Fehler gleichzeitig gefunden haben, denn bevor ich hier gelesen habe, hatte ich ich ihn selbst schon entdeckt Wink

Desweiteren kann die Sache als erledigt betrachtet werden Big Grin
Weil: - ich "Schussel" nicht nur in der FritzBox den Dyn-DNS aktiviert hatte sondern auch den Dyn-Updater am laufen hatte. Beide zusammen haben wohl irgendwie verhindert das ich mich per Viewer einloggen konnte.
Denn nachdem der Dyn-Updater deinstalliert war, und eben o.g. Fehler (von Dorena und mir Wink gefundene Fehler) beseitigt war, klappte es auch mit dem Einloggen.

Also bin ich jetzt stolzer Besitzer eines Hypergrids-Webserver auf dem eigenen PC - jipeeehhh Wink

Allen anderen die hier mitlesen und aus den kleinen Fehlern lernen, die ich oder andere machen, wünsche ich weiterhin viel Erfolg bei Ihrer eigenen kleinen Welt zuhause auf dem eigenen PC.

Das heisst nicht das ich mich jetzt verabschiede - nein - ich werde mich weiterhin sehr intensiv mit Opensim beschäftigen.
Denn es macht Spass was eigenes auf die Beine zu stellen, anstatt immer nur in SL rumzuhängen.
Und deshalb werde ich auch diesem Forum hier treu bleiben HeartBig Grin

Zu Deiner kleinen Welt Dorena - ich werde mich wohl öfter bei Dir mal einloggen, wenn es meine Zeit zulässt.
Denn erstens hast Du Dir sehr viel Mühe gegeben, zweitens eine wunderschöne Welt erschaffen, und last but not least sollte soviel Arbeit auch belohnt werden - indem man öfter vorbei schaut und die Freude über Vollbrachtes vielleicht gemeinsam geniessen kann.

Meine weiteren Ziele:
1.) Einige Module in mein Opensim einfügen (erstmal selber probieren - wenns nicht klappt frage ich wieder Wink)
2.) Meine eigene Welt weiter ausbauen
3.) Einen guten und starken V- oder Root-Server mieten um auch anderen den Zugang dann möglich zu machen.
4.) Wenn dann alles "lüppt" mich an einen Grid anhängen, sowie es Dorena wunderbar in ihrem 6. Teil beschrieben hat.

Also nochmals vielen Dank für dieses 6-teilige How-To, Dorena.
Habe sehr viel gelernt dadurch HeartBig Grin

hab über dieses schöne Tutorial und dein supertolles dreamland für alle hierher gefunden Smile
Nun stecke ich allerdings in Teil 2 - ab ins Netz fest....ich bekomm es nicht hin, dass ich mich ins Hypergrid einloggen kann und habe leider keine Ahnung, wo ich was falsch gemacht habe Huh

was mir aufgefallen ist: als ich anschließend wieder mit localhost reingegangen bin, wurden mir nur noch meine zwei zusätzlichen Regionen angezeigt...die ursprüngliche dreamland ist weg Sad

Vielleicht hängen diese beiden Probleme ja zusammen?

Wäre super, wenn mir jemand auf die Sprünge helfen könnte Smile
