Today, Aurora 0.3 is now available and should be most feature complete and stable version of Aurora to date. We've addressed dozens of bugs since our last 0.2 release and added many new features to the project. If there are any bugs or new feature requests, please go to our MANTIS bug tracker (under the Get Involved menu item) and give us some feedback. Thanks to all for making this our best release yet!

New Features:

# Abackup archive - A new form of backup for a region that saves more information and gives more options when saving.
# File Based Simulation Service - Allows for the saving of prims and terrain to .abackup archives, which load faster and are less intensive on the server than loading from the database.
# The new Grid Registration Service, which allows for fine grained permissions on what individual regions can do.
# Support for Viewer 2 Maps.
# The new error reporter which allows for users to send errors to Aurora-Sim.
# The new updater module, which alerts users to new releases that are available.
# The ability to set the maximum number of offline IMs a user can get.
# Better script permissions that allow for setting of groups and user sets, such as administrators or parcel owners, to be able to run certain permissions on top of just single users.
# The ability to use UserNames, instead of just First and Last names. This allows for single names and names with multiple spaces in them in viewers that support this.
# The ability to use WebLoginKey, which allows users to log in via Aurora-WebUI, and then directly log into Aurora, without a second authentication in the viewer.
# Many bug fixes and more
